Hi I'm Emma Marie Strange, Ceramic Artist and Designer.
I graduated from a Ceramic Degree in 2008. Since then I have continued making, but in July 2016 I made the decision to go in to full time designing and making, so here I am!
I work from my home studio in a beautiful Wiltshire village, where the rolling hills and meadows feed into my work. I walk these every day with my dog - Beau, and can't help but be inspired each time we are out on our walks.
I make ceramic and wire flowers that can stand alone or playfully dance in groups, each painted by hand with the brush marks intentionally left and making each one completely unique. I also make brightly coloured ceramic earrings and necklaces (I like colour) each painted by hand, I also have a more subtle colour range as well.
In 2016 I started a new design range inspired by my ceramic and wire flowers. Hand decorating fine bone china with my designs of wild flowers, pansy's, thistles and crocus. This year I have followed this with a range of rainbow animals - brightly coloured animal silhouettes and have made a card range. I have no doubt that a design range based around my dog Beau is also not far away! So please keep an eye out for new designs!
